Emet Clothing

My name is Abraham Ayim Eklemet. I am Founder and CEO of Emet clothing. After my secondary education at Anum Presbyterian School, I went into a- four-year training in tailoring at Carol- Rosie top fashion located opposite hotel de-Sapporo at Kaneshie orgle road and successfully completed in the year 2004.

I then got employed at Avor Ventures as a tailor for a period of 6 months and taught of starting mine on 23 November 2004, with a single sewing machine in a bedroom.

In March 2005, I went for a President’s Special Initiative and successfully finished a sewing machinist training programmed at technology training centre. It was at this juncture, I adopted the name EMET DESIGNS, which happen to come from the 4 letters of my surname Eklemet.

On 27 March 2009, I participated in a Self Employment Workshop at LDS employment resource centre and was awarded with a certificate upon successfully completion.

In November 2012, I took part in a Garment Export Development course organized by FAGE and Rainbow Consult and was awarded a certificate upon completion.

On 12 September 2012, I registered the business officially and change the name from EMET DESIGNS to its present name EMET CLOTHING ENT. With the intention of branding what we offer.

With accreditation from National Vocational Training Institute, dated 24 September 2013, EMET CLOTHING has been certified and authorized to operate as Master Craft’s person in fashion designing.
